Members Update

Another great week at the club with all our members enjoying the golf course, sunshine and camaraderie.

I just want to thank all the members for the praise received on the current course conditioning. Mark and his team put an immense amount of effort in providing you with the best course every single day. Your comments and positive feedback go a long way and makes all the hard work worthwhile. Thank you!

To add to the abnormalities 2020 has thrown our way, the Masters will be on our television screens this weekend. This instalment will be significantly different without the perfect greens, flowering Azaleas and the famous Sunday afternoon crowd roar. Nonetheless it will provide some stellar entertainment for us all to enjoy! Perhaps you can emulate your golfing hero in the upcoming Club Championships! (update below)

Course Care

The high demand for golf has meant plenty of wear and tear on the course at the moment. 99% of this has been caused by Members. You must carry a sand bucket with you and are expected to use it to repair your divots.

Please also fix pitch marks, if you can't find your own fix any you see. We encourage members to rake bunkers and sanitise their hands after using the rake. Please enter from the lowest point of the bunker and not up or down the face.

Please avoid litter. Smokers in particular take note, a cigarette butt is to be disposed in a bin not on our course.

Course Update

Apart from routine maintenance of all playing surfaces, the team managed to:

Repairs irrigation leaks to the 6^th tee using 80mm pipe. Also attending to and repairing sprinkler leaks on 1^st green, 12^thgreen and 7^th tee.
Fairways and tees fertilised and sprayed for the Poa this week with pre-emergent should get 6 - 8 weeks of coverage.
New pathway from the 7^th green to the 8^th tee cut out this week ahead of the property development behind the 8th tee box.
Nematode results from our green sampling returned back some outstanding numbers which is a great result.
Reeds on the 6^th dam cut back this week thanks to SLRS.

Golf Shop Update

Golf Buggy Phone Holders In Store!
With the vast majority of members using the MiScore App we will be receiving some phone holders that clip onto your golf buggy. This will allow you to access your GPS and scorecard on the MiScore app without having to get your phone out of the golf bag! Just $49 For Members!

Titleist TSi Fittings Available Now!
We have all our TSi fitting clubs in from Titleist ready to go for fittings. If you can't make the fitting day or would prefer to have a fitting booked earlier with one of our coaches just let us know. All fittings are free of charge when you buy the clubs from us, get the perfect fit for you straight out of lockdown and right in time for summer!

We have now received all our fitting components from the new Mizuno JPX 921 range as well as the Taylormade P Series Irons. These irons are trusted by a huge number of tour players.

Bushnell Wingman Now Available
The new Bushnell Wingman GPS speaker will be arriving in the Pro Shop next week. These are a Bluetooth speaker that magnetically clip to the side of your cart. Through their app you can then hit a button that detaches and can be kept in your pocket for distances to the front, middle and back of the green. We have one set up in the shop ready to go, ask our friendly staff for a demonstration next time you're in!

Golf Academy Update

Last week we spoke about the forthcoming coaching clinics that we will be starting at Sanctuary Lakes Golf Academy. This week we are delighted to announce some start dates, booking links and further details will be available early next week.

New Codes For Toilets

During the lockdown we repaired all the vandalism to the 15th toilet as well a small refresh to the 6th toilet.

In an attempt to prevent further vandalism to the 15th toilet we have changed the combination on the lock.

To confirm the codes for the on-course toilets are;
